This professional multifunction system includes:
IBM is announcing two new products to the cut-sheet product line. The Infoprint® 2060ES and 2075ES multifunction production devices are full-function, medium-speed printer and duplication systems that effectively combine a true datacenter-centric controller with copier capabilities. Available in two versions, the Infoprint 2060ES and 2075ES are cost-efficient, easy-to-use, print-on-demand solutions that can help you gain a competitive edge and win in the marketplace. The Infoprint 2060ES and 2075ES are cut-sheet multifunction production devices with print speeds up to 60 and 75 impressions per minute (ipm)1, with excellent print quality at 1200 DPI®, 600 dpi IPDS™ and selectable 600 or 1200 dpi for PCL, PostScript, and PDF. With these output speeds, one can create a more productive environment and substantially reduce time waiting at the printer. The printers can be configured with either IPDS or PCL/PostScript or both at initial order (at least one data stream must be ordered). The printer can be configured with a finisher: either the 50 staple finisher, 100 staple finisher, or booklet finisher. If a finisher is not desired, then the 500-Sheet Output Bin feature must be ordered. The Infoprint 2060ES and 2075ES come standard with a 10/100/1000BaseT Ethernet attachment for printing and a 10/100BaseT Ethernet attachment for scanning. An optional token ring attachment (not scanning) and wireless adapter for printing is also available.
The Infoprint 2060ES and 2075ES can help transform your business to become more competitive and win in the marketplace. In addition to printing at 60 ipm for Infoprint 2060ES and 75 ipm for Infoprint 2075ES, the printers have a 60 ipm integrated scanner that supports digital copying at 60 copies per minute for Infoprint 2060ES and 75 copies per minute for Infoprint 2075ES. The PostScript Japanese feature includes Double Byte Character Set (DBCS) support with Morisawa fonts (GothicBBB-Medium and Ryumin-Light). This feature should only be ordered if double byte support is required. PCL/PostScript is a pre-Requisite® for this feature. The Japanese PCL/PostScript feature is tied to a specific machine and is not interchangeable with other Infoprint 2060ES and 2075ES machines. Either the IBM AFP/IPDS feature or PCL/PostScript feature or both must be ordered with the printer. Token ring: Infoprint 2060ES and 2075ES support an optional Token-Ring 4/16 adapter in addition to the standard Ethernet attachment. However, only one attachment, Ethernet or token ring, can be active at a time. The Token-Ring attachment supports printing only (no scanning). 802.11b wireless adapter: Infoprint 2060ES and 2075ES support wireless Ethernet attachments based on the IEEE 802.11b standard. Wireless Ethernet can be used for any of the Ethernet attachments (printing and scanning). Operator panel: Infoprint 2060ES and 2075ES have a 640 x 240 dot LCD (half VGA) LCD touch-screen, hard keys, and indicators for status. Two languages can be loaded into the operator panel and the operator may select between the two. If a double byte language such as Japanese or Chinese language is loaded, then only one language is supported. Paper handling: Infoprint 2060ES and 2075ES come with 4,100-sheet input capacity standard. This capability includes three input drawers and a 100-sheet auxiliary tray. An optional 4,000-sheet Large Capacity Tray is available which increases the maximum input capacity to 8,100 sheets. Duplex capability comes standard with both printers. Custom paper sizes are supported in trays 2, 3, (tray 4 Japan) and the auxiliary tray. For the trays 2, 3, (tray 4 Japan) the custom size is 140 mm x 140 mm (5.5 in x 5.5 in) minimum and 305 mm x 458 mm (12 in x 18 in) SEF maximum. For the auxiliary tray the custom size is 100 mm x 140 mm (4.0 in x 5.5 in) SEF minimum and 305 mm x 458 mm (12 in x 18 in) SEF maximum. Custom paper sizes run at 305 mm x 458 mm (12 in x 18 in) speed and are supported in PostScript, IPDS, and PCL 6, but not PCL 5. Infoprint 2060ES and 2075ES print the front side of duplex pages first. This means preprinted forms that will be used for both simplex and duplex jobs can be loaded in a single tray and used effectively with no extra steps required. Forward collated tab stock is supported in the auxiliary tray, reversed collated tab stock in trays 2 and 3. Finishers
