This is a limited offer for a great trade-in. Now until September 26, 2003, for each 3810, 3840, 3870 you trade in, GENICOM will pay you up to * when you purchase the same quantity of our new 3860 or 3880 serial matrix printers.

This time limited offer is valid only when you purchase any quantity of NEW GENICOM 3860 or 3880 serial matrix printers and trade in up to the same quantity of old GENICOM model 3810, 3840, or 3870 printers.

You can purchase the new 3860 or 3880 serial matrix printers from a reseller of your choice in the USA or Canada.

Terms and Conditions

1. To implement this trade-in special offer, GENICOM will BUY BACK the old units either from the reseller, whom you purchased the new GENICOM 3860 or 3880 printers, or from the end-user directly.

* The trade-in, BUY BACK values for units starting with serial number 96or newer is . For units starting with serial number 95or older, the trade-in value is .

3. The serial number plate is located (front view) behind the front paper path door in the right hand corner. The label also contains UL, CSA information. I.E., SN: 9615-39214

4. The following models are included in this trade-in, buy back offer: 3810, 3812, 3910, 3912, 3840, 3842, 3940, 3942, 3944, 3870, 3972, 3974.

5. To qualify for the trade-in buy back offer, claims must be received no later than October 30, 2003. Only claims that include the purchase of new 3860 or 3880 that were received by the end-user on or before September 26, 2003 will be accepted.

6. The number of trade-in BUY BACK units must be equal to or less than the number of new GENICOM 3860 or 3880 purchased by the end-user.

7. Trade-in units that GENICOM is buying back must be complete with no missing parts, ribbon and documentation excluded.

8. To implement the buy back, GENICOM will issue a purchase order to the reseller or end-user for the quantity of units at the specified buy back value per unit. Upon receipt and inspection by GENICOM, a check will be issued to the company, or individual specified on the original purchase order within 45 days.

9. The cost of freight for units that GENICOM is buying back is the responsibility of the reseller or end-user and will be noted on the purchase order issued by GENICOM. The reseller or end-user is encouraged to pack the trade-in buy back unit(s) in the packaging received with the new 3860 or 3880.
