Overview

InfoPrintÂ® Solutions Company, a RicohÂ®-IBM joint venture, announces new capabilities for the InfoPrint Pro C900AFP.

The InfoPrint Pro C900AFP now supports PostScriptÂ® 3 (TM), PDF 1.7 (TM) and the Personalized Print Markup Language (PPML) in addition to the Advanced Function Presentationâ¢ (AFPâ¢) Architecture previously announced.

The following new capabilities are available for the InfoPrint Pro C900AFP:

Cover Interposer for inserting document covers into the print stream.
Attachment to the InfoPrint 2494 Ring Binder, the InfoPrint 2492 Perfect Binder, and the 2496 Plockmatic Bookletmaker in countries where these products are available.
The InfoPrint Job Ticket Editor for PostScript and PDF files.
Support for the InfoPrint Productivity Tracker V2.1 program.

Description

The InfoPrint Pro C900AFP now supports the following:

PostScript 3 (TM), PDF 1.7 (TM) and the Personalized Print Markup Language (PPML) in addition to the Advanced Function Presentation (AFP) Architecture with IPDSâ¢ previously announced.
The Cover Interposer (#4600, 4601) to insert media, such as a document cover, into the print stream.
Attachment to the InfoPrint 2494 Ring Binder, the InfoPrint 2492 Perfect Binder, and the 2496 Plockmatic Bookletmaker.
The InfoPrint Job-ticketing Editor for PostScript and PDF files.
The InfoPrint Productivity Tracker V2.1 Program Product.

Controller with PostScript and IPDS (#9929)

This feature provides a printer controller that supports PostScript, PDF, IPDS, and PPML.

After the general availability of this feature, it must be included on all initial orders for the InfoPrint Pro C900AFP (machine type 2709, Model P02)

For orders requesting delivery after the general availability of feature 9929, order only feature 9929, and not feature 9928.
