Plug-In IBM AFP/IPDS emulation for HP LaserJet Printers.

I-O Corporation's 3235 DIMM enables an HP LaserJet to print AFP/IPDS print jobs over an Ethernet LAN. The 3235 DIMM is designed to work with the HP JetDirect print server. This winning combination provides high level AFP/IPDS printing from an IBM AS/400 and Mainframe system.

I-O has combined its extensive experience in host connectivity with HP's I/O Filter technology to develop a solution that allows mutiple models of HP printers to print AFP/IPDS host print jobs.

Easy to install and configure, the I-O 3235 DIMM is simply plugged into the HP printer. Set-up and Configuration is done through the printer's front control panel.

This outstanding solution provides full function IBM AFP/IPDS printing as well as standard Ethernet LAN printing.

AFP/IPDS printing on an HP printerEliminates the expense of a dedicated host AFP/IPDS printer.
AFP/IPDS printing over a LANBoth AFP/IPDS host printing and standard LAN printing can be accomplished in an Ethernet environment.
Offloading od Data ConversionIncreased speed is a result of converting EBCDIC data at the printer rather than at the host or PC.
DuplexPrinting can be done on both sides of a page. The full functionality of a duplex printer can be utilized.
Page Offset FunctionProvides flexibility in page positioning with no need to modify applications.
Supports over 100 AFP/IPDS FontsThere are more fonts to choose from than other AFP/IPDS interfaces.
