Use AirPrint, Wi-Fi Direct or the RICOH Smart Device Print&Scan app to print from your smartphone, tablet or laptop without software, drivers or utilities. With the optional HDD, you can print digital files from a USB or SD card. Just plug it into the device and print when you're ready. With the wireless LAN options, you can place the printer where it's most convenient. Use the optional second network interface port to share the printer on two networks simultaneously.

Print in Economy Color Mode to reduce your cost-per-page for draft-ready presentations that require internal review. It uses less toner so you can extend the life of your print cartridges. Take advantage of automatic duplexing to reduce paper usage.

The SP C342DN is designed specifically to reduce operating costs. It has a Typical Electricity Consumption (TEC) of just 1.6 kWh/week, is ENERGY STAR certified, and meets EPEAT Silver criteria*. Use the Eco-Friendly Indicator to track users' behaviors and encourage responsible printing. When not in use, the printer enters energy-saving Sleep Mode, or you can even program it to power on or off at specific times.

Keep sensitive information to yourself

Know your target audience - and possible threats. With User Code Authentication, you can prohibit users from using specific print functions, such as color printing, to reduce costs. Take advantage of Unauthorized Copy Control to mask confidential information when unauthorized users try to copy it. Protect data streams with built-in network data encryption. Add the optional Hard Disk Drive (HDD) and give every job a password so it stays in queue until you authorize it directly at the device.
