Privacy Policy

Argecy Computer Corporation ("Argecy", "we", "us") sells new and refurbished printers, parts and supplies through argecy.com, by phone and by email. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account details — if you create an account: your name, company, email address, phone number and password.
- Order details — billing and shipping names and addresses, company, phone, email, purchase order number, the items you buy, and, if you ask us to ship on your own UPS or FedEx account, that account number.
- Payment details — card payments are sent directly to our payment processor, Authorize.net, and PayPal payments are made on PayPal's own site. We do not store your full card number.
- Messages — what you send us by email, phone, our contact forms or the live chat on our site.
- Usage information — like most websites, our server records your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, and we use cookies (see below).
How we use it
- To process, ship and support your orders, including tracking, returns, warranty and service.
- To answer your questions and quotes.
- To prevent fraud and keep our site secure.
- To understand how our site is used so we can improve it.
- To send you occasional product news and offers, if you have not opted out. Every marketing email tells you how to unsubscribe.
We do not sell or rent your personal information.
Who we share it with
Only the companies that help us run our business, and only what they need:
- Payment processors — Authorize.net and PayPal, to take your payment.
- Shipping carriers — UPS, FedEx and freight carriers, to deliver your order.
- Suppliers — when an item ships directly to you from a distributor, they receive your shipping name and address.
- Service providers — our website hosting, email, Google Analytics (site statistics), tawk.to (live chat) and TrustedSite (security certification).
- When required by law — to comply with a legal request, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.
Cookies
Our site uses cookies to keep you logged in, remember your shopping cart, measure site traffic (Google Analytics) and run the live chat. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; if you do, the cart and login may not work. You can opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we need them for warranty, service, accounting and tax purposes. You can ask us to close your account at any time.
Security
Our checkout pages use encrypted (HTTPS) connections, and card details go straight to our payment processor. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and limit who can see it.
Your choices
- Email — unsubscribe from marketing using the link in any email, or tell us.
- Access, correction or deletion — you can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. We may need to keep some records the law requires us to keep.
- California residents may have additional rights under California law, including the right to know what we collect and to request deletion. We do not sell personal information.
Children
Our site is for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
