Abstract

The Xerox MX831se is a monochrome laser multifunction printer (print, copy, color scan and iFax; analog fax with the optional 497K26240 2-Port Fax Card) for large workgroups, one of the Xerox 7 and 8 M-Series machines launched in October 2026 and built by Lexmark (machine type 7468). It prints and copies up to 55 pages per minute (Letter) with integrated duplex printing and is run from a 10.1-inch (25.6 cm) e-Task color touch screen. A quad-core 1.2 GHz processor and 4 GB of memory come standard. Scanning is through a 200-sheet automatic document feeder at up to 160 sides per minute (Letter, duplex).

Included paper handling: 100-Sheet Multipurpose Feeder, Integrated Duplex, 550-Sheet Output Bin, 550-Sheet Input. Standard input is 650 sheets, expandable to 3,300 sheets with optional trays; recommended monthly volume is 5,000 - 75,000 pages with a maximum duty cycle of up to 300,000 pages per month. It uses the shared 7/8 M-Series supplies: return program toner cartridges yielding up to 15,000 / 35,000 / 73,800 pages and a 225,000-page imaging unit.
