Reynolds and Reynolds docuPAD Printers
The docuPAD system from Reynolds and Reynolds turned the finance and insurance desk into an interactive one. If your store runs it, the printer beside it is not an afterthought — it is the part that decides whether the paperwork half of the process actually works.
What docuPAD Is
docuPAD is part of the Reynolds Retail Management System, and it is hardware and software together. The hardware is a 45-inch touch-screen table that sits flat on the F&I desk in front of the customer, with integrated speakers and a 4K display. Rather than an F&I manager turning a monitor around, the customer works directly on the surface: reviewing an interactive product menu, watching related videos, selecting coverage, and signing electronically.
The result is that the F&I process is presented, recorded and signed electronically, with electronic signature capture built into the flow. Reynolds also offers docuPAD Remote for customers completing paperwork away from the store.
Why a Paperless Desk Still Needs a Printer
Even with electronic signature capture, a deal does not finish entirely on the glass. State DMV and title paperwork, lienholder documents, and anything requiring a wet signature or a carbon set still have to be printed — and they have to be printed on multipart forms, not plain paper.
That is why the F&I forms printer stays in the room. It has to feed heavy multipart stock reliably, register the form accurately so every copy is legible down to the last part, and hand back a document a customer will sign without waiting.
Barcodes and the Electronic Deal Jacket
There is one capability worth understanding, because it is the difference between a printer that merely works with docuPAD and one that earns its keep.
An F&I printer set up for docuPAD can print barcodes directly onto DMV forms. When those forms come back to be scanned, docuPAD reads the barcode and files each document into the correct electronic deal jacket automatically — no one indexes them by hand, and documents do not end up in the wrong deal. On a busy desk that is the difference between archiving being a background task and archiving being somebody's afternoon.
This is not automatic on any machine. The printer has to be configured for it. Ask us and we will set it up before the unit ships.

Lexmark and Xerox lasers alongside
Most docuPAD stores also run a laser printer for plain-paper output. We carry the Lexmark and Xerox line new and refurbished, with the deepest parts inventory you will find anywhere. Xerox completed its acquisition of Lexmark in July 2025, so newer hardware may carry Xerox branding on the same Lexmark-built machine — give us the product's model number, whichever brand name appears with it.
What to Tell Us When You Order
Reynolds is particular, and docuPAD more so. A printer that has not been set up for it will power up, pass its self-test, and still not do what your desk needs — barcodes will not appear on the DMV forms, and archiving stays manual.
